In 1998 I went to one of my dealers and explained an idea I had to generate traffic and sales

for his new dealership in Kansas City. At first he and other dealers said it wouldn't work and

that people would not participate in the program. He however took a gamble and invested $10,000

into the program I developed. Needless to say from day 1 it took off and over an 8 year period

I did this program with over 100 dealers.

Now, in a deep recession, I came up with a new concept that has never been done. It's based

on the fact that the great majority of auto sales are now in the under $10,000 category.

I tested it in one of the top markets and the dealer went absolutely nuts when he saw the

incredible traffic it generated. The dealer spent about $3000 on tv and so far in the first week

has sold over 30 vehicles with high grosses. This is in the middle of winter and with below freezing
