Cal,

Savvy shoppers have done their homework and know just as much or more about the car you're selling before they even pull up on your lot. But the fact is, 99 percent of CL shoppers are price shoppers. For me, I advertise lower than everyone else on purpose. They buy from me because of price then condition. But you have to get them there. Price does it. In my opinion, not listing a price or listing retail doesn't work.

Just my two cents.
