Special Finance Leads

We are just setting up a Special Finance department in our store. We are looking into different lead sources and aren't sure which one to go with. I have talked to a couple that get their leads from internet sites and a couple that get their leads directly from the credit bureaus. I'm not sure which is the better source of leads. Can anyone tell me what lead company has worked for them and what you normally pay for leads. I've heard some companies won't charge you for the leads unless you… Continue

Where do the leads originate?

This is the most important thing for you to know. Does the lead provider buy all of their leads from a wholesale exchange, do they have business partners who help them generate applications, and what percentage (if any) come from… Continue

Clunkers

For all of you new car dealers involved with the C.A.R.S program. We are confused about what to do with the money from the salvage yard for the clunker. The rules do not clearly say who keeps the money. We understand the $50.00 but see nothing about giving excess money back to the consumer.

What are you all doing?
