With CSI and many new people that are making a change in their careers to become a salesperson, What are the actual modern steps to a sale? There was a time the traditional 10 steps were sufficient but with so much competition, internet, and the awareness of this recession a lot of owners are very careful in not getting a customer upset they lose sales by not asking the question : Would you like to buy a car today?

In fact, you should revisit all the areas you worked on to determine in the desired affects were acheived and if necessary tweak them more.
If C4C was successful you were able to move inventory that if I had to guess had been on your lot… Continue

We are just setting up a Special Finance department in our store. We are looking into different lead sources and aren't sure which one to go with. I have talked to a couple that get their leads from internet sites and a couple that get their leads directly from the credit bureaus. I'm not sure which is the better source of leads. Can anyone tell me what lead company has worked for them and what you normally pay for leads. I've heard some companies won't charge you for the leads unless you… Continue

For all of you new car dealers involved with the C.A.R.S program. We are confused about what to do with the money from the salvage yard for the clunker. The rules do not clearly say who keeps the money. We understand the $50.00 but see nothing about giving excess money back to the consumer.
What are you all doing?
