Secondary Finance Pay Plan

In a new car and truck dealership, what is a good payplan for a secondary finance manager with 3 secondary salespeople under him? Also, how would you pay the salesperson who first greeted the customer?  There always seems to be discord between the primary dept and secondary department. Are there any suggestions to bring harmony to the 2 departments?Any and all suggestions are welcomeSee More

Biography/Work Summary
After leaving school within a few years I opened a gift store business at age 20 and a couple beauty supply houses by age 24. At age 29 a friend talked me into selling cars at a Toyota dealership in Rockford Il. and I was hooked! I have been in the car business- whoops!!! that's really the people business ever since. I was General Manager of a Honda Dealership for 4 years and then opened a used car lot.
I have a proven ability to cultivate relationships with key decision makers and manage projects to achieve and exceed goals. I have a track record in leading sales teams and achieving exceptional results.
Strong background in sales and finance management and team building.
Favorite Quote
In business I learned my favorite quote the first day: WHAT ARE YOU DOING TODAY TO SELL A CAR???
In my personal life my favorite quote is: Ephesians 2:8-9 for by grace have you been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, Not of works, lest anyone should boast.
Activities Away From Work
On my days off I enjoy training other Special Finance Managers how to set up and work special Finance. Watching someone learn the business I have enjoyed for over 30 years brings me joy (and a little money).

Hello David:

I have started a new BHPH Dealer 20 Group with members in Utah, California, Colorado and Washington.  I'd like to add 1-2 members from Arizona.  Would you be interested in learning more?

Our group is sponsored by a CPA firm, Pope Taylor PLLC, helping offset some of the costs and providing accounting, finance and tax assistance. Our first meeting will be held in Park City, UT from Feb 9-11.

Would you interested in learning more?

Best regards,

Spencer
