Good morning. I just saw your note here and would like to invite you to give me a call. I handled Charley's merchant accounts for the site and our IT team assists in getting your site live or even building one for you. You can reach me…"
Glad to hear the payment website is functioning well for you. I hope all is well. I just wanted to post our info here in case anyone wanted information about setting one up.
See you at NABD!"
"Charley I would love to take payments through a web sight, and have them get a code for the customers. how would I use this feature. I am just getting started with a RFC, I would like to do this the right way. Thank you for any imput."
"Instead of buying leads, in my opinion, an inefficient use of your time and effort, look at it this way.
1) If the vast majority of your customers are using the web to research (some studies say over 90%!) their purchase...you need to be where they…"
"Web Site Tip #5
Who handles your contacts and applications? Do they have any phone training or talent to be able to make your appointments?
If a sales person is handling them, your appointment rate will be very low. It takes a different skill set…"
"Our Jan finished up very strong and Feb is gangbusters so far. We are tracking 10-20% over last year so far for traffic and sales. Auction prices are a little nuts, but ....if thats the worst problem I have.

"Automasters has a very good collection system. It does not however do accounting or CRM / Closing functions at all. We use AutoStar for our collection, ADP for accounting and ProMax for our CRM and desking. I really like AutoStar for collections and…"
"Our business and customers are changing in front of our eyes, very quickly.
I believe the dealers that will be successful this year, and going forward into the future, are the ones that are changing and adapting to the new realities of the market…"
"Web site Tip #4
Use Google Analytics for your web site statistics on your web site.
It's free, very flexible, easy to use and gives you a ton of info on your web site and what it is doing or not doing.

"Our business is pretty good. No complaints here.
Good traffic and sales so far. It is early in the season though.
I expect a big jump when W2's are out.

"The next thing you may try to improve sales from your BHPH web site is to put your company web address (url) on your building in letters 12-18 inches tall. You can mount them on the building itself or put tape letters in your showroom glass. Chances…"
"I'll take a slightly contrarian approach here...
Just because you double your friends, followers or connections in your social networking efforts, does not mean you will double your sales. Social networking in all its forms, need to be part of…"
"To me, one of the overlooked benefits of an on line credit application is this.
If someone takes the time and trouble to send you a complete credit application at your website, they are serious about doing business with you. You have to treat the…"
"I agree totally. the problem I've found most of the time is the owner of the website (the dealer) does not hold his/her website provider to a goal or set of expectations for the website. The website MUST sell cars. If it does not, it needs to…"
"Guys, dont get wrapped up in just how the website looks... there is a TON of behind the scenes things that go into a web site. You can have the prettiest and most functional site in the world, but if noone finds it, then its a big waste. Dont get…"
"I'll eventually start sounding like a broken record here but... the dealers who are changing and adapting to the new retail enviornment...with updated technology, CRM systems, website and internet strategy, improved sales processes and training…"

So you know I sold my new car store last year and presently consulting for large dealer groups in the North East. My not having a website has no bearing on how I feel about what I said. You make no sense. Maybe if you had a better insight of new car dealerships you would understand what most others in the blog see!
