Instead of buying leads, in my opinion, an inefficient use of your time and effort, look at it this way. 1) If the vast majority of your customers are using the web to research (some studies say over 90%!) their purchase...you need to be where they…

Web Site Tip #5 Who handles your contacts and applications? Do they have any phone training or talent to be able to make your appointments? If a sales person is handling them, your appointment rate will be very low. It takes a different skill set an…

Our Jan finished up very strong and Feb is gangbusters so far. We are tracking 10-20% over last year so far for traffic and sales. Auction prices are a little nuts, but ....if thats the worst problem I have. Charley Pompey, www.digapsblog.com , for…

Instead of thinking about it as a number of phone calls, look at it as a series of planned contacts. For example, your first contact would be an email. Your 2nd a phone call, 3rd an email, 4th a phone call...1 of these contacts per day. This develop…

Automasters has a very good collection system. It does not however do accounting or CRM / Closing functions at all. We use AutoStar for our collection, ADP for accounting and ProMax for our CRM and desking. I really like AutoStar for collections and…

The next thing you may try to improve sales from your BHPH web site is to put your company web address (url) on your building in letters 12-18 inches tall. You can mount them on the building itself or put tape letters in your showroom glass. Chances…

I'll take a slightly contrarian approach here... Just because you double your friends, followers or connections in your social networking efforts, does not mean you will double your sales. Social networking in all its forms, need to be part of an in…

I agree totally. the problem I've found most of the time is the owner of the website (the dealer) does not hold his/her website provider to a goal or set of expectations for the website. The website MUST sell cars. If it does not, it needs to be fix…

So you know I sold my new car store last year and presently consulting for large dealer groups in the North East. My not having a website has no bearing on how I feel about what I said. You make no sense. Maybe if you had a better insight of new car dealerships you would understand what most others in the blog see!
