vAuto Pricing?
Does anyone know how much it would cost to have this program without getting a full blown out pitch from a salesperson at vAuto? Can any of the members that are using the program tell me what has been the most useful part of this tool and is it a long written commitment? I just don't want to waste anyone's time as I would have to pitch it to the DP.

It's month to month..IF you pay for the install upfront which I believe is around $1000. After that it's $1800 and the custom comments are another $2-250. I know of a lot of dealers that swear by it but we couldn't make it work. You CAN sell cars off of it, but you won't make much money in doing so. But that's what you will be pitched, "better to make a little then nothing." And if you do Subprime like we do you don't need it at all. Also, I'm not sold on the fact that a dealer in a large (1,000,000+ population) will have huge success UNLESS they are ultra highline or ultra cheap. I think it works fantastic for dealers in a smaller market, where they have a more captive audience. There are several dealers in Kansas City using it and in my humble opinion it mainly benefit's the CONSUMER. I suggest you try it, but don't jump in head first like we did. I STILL have "hot cars" that we CAN'T sell at any reasonable loss. Good Luck!
