Who are you marketing to. The world is changing and it seems to me that Dealers are still being reactive to it rather than proactive. Of course this is the same way it was when my dad owned a store in the 60s and 70s. Consumer confidence is in the crapper and will get worse if the media keeps reporting it. What I dont under stand is why that same media is used to try and get people in the door at retail outlets even beyond auto. There are people out there who can buy right now and the avenues being used to reach them are the same avenues that keep them away.
Are you marketing to the real decision maker with in the house hold. 85% are women but most of your ads look like they are for the LA or Chicago auto show. I dont think there is a marketer out there that can predict what will happen with anything. Of course they all say you will be sucessfull. They must have a crystal ball that I was never told about.
