Auto Dealer People

Might add an additional question to that thought. Why do you like them or why do you not like them?

We use Dealer.com... for the most part I like them... you have a lot of workability on your site pages, metatags, video, etc. My rep is pretty good too and tech support is always helpful. I used Dealerskins at a previous dealership and they weren't as user friendly and you didn't have the ability to do alot of the changes yourself. Had to open a tt everytime. I have also seen / used VIN Solutions and they are amazing... If I could get current dealership to change I would so go with them. Ask for Matt if you contact them... you have tons of workability, reporting drills down to the last i dotted and t crossed / extremely user friendly and just an all around impressive product. Good Luck!

I have actually spoken to the guys at Dealer.com, and they do have a great service. The only issue is that I will have to maintain the site, and I just don't know that I will have the time to spend doing my daily plans, and then throw in maintaining the web site.

We use Dealer On and they are great to work with ... great with SEO. We work with Jeff Clark. I think they are fantastic.

For the past 4 years, we have been using eBizautos for our Internet marketing. They offer a comprehensive solution which includes site design and development, inventory management, third party site and network marketing and, most important, realtime analysis & optimization. Their dealer portal allows me to quickly upload my inventory pictures and descriptions. And, their seamless integration with ebaymotors, craigslist and over 300 car sites and networks across the web ensures maximum reach and 100% presence.

The site design and layout are excellent, with plenty of user friendly features and contact forms intended to increase conversions and reduce bounce rates. Their enhanced listing option includes, among other things, detailed OEM information about each car, and their CARFAX integration is a great value-added feature.

At Michaels Autos, our marketing strategy is 100% Internet, so it is important for us to have a service provider with the right tools, experience and knowledge and so far, eBizautos has met those requirements for us.

Oh, and their customer support is great.

Hope this helps.

If you go to drivingsales.com , then go to vendor ratings, then web providers, there's lots of valuable information. Be sure to read all the ratings, some are eye-openers! I'm going through the process again myself.

I use a fellow named Ed "Doc" Koon.

Doc at one time sold more vehicles online than just about anyone,
primarily through eBay when they were still in their prime.

He has been very helpful to me, and has really impacted my online exposure.

Here's Doc's site:

I use Advanced Auto Dealers. You won't get more for your money than you spend with them. However you can spend a lot more money to get more or less! Go to advancedautodealers.com & click on AAD Dealer Services.

I guess the funny thing about this thread is...no one seemed to grade, or rate their satisfaction with their websites based on the actual productivity (IE: sales per month). The comments seem to center on the appearance, usability and service of the provider. These things are all important, but if it does not sell cars, it ain't workin'.
For an easy guide, look at home page unique visitors compared to total inquiries recieved by you, and actual vehicles delivered from those inquiries. Do it as 3 raw numbers and percentages compared to each other.
For example, 1000 unique home page visitors, 110 inquiries and 15 cars delivered. That would be 11% of your visitors sent an inquiry, and 1.5% of your visitors bought a car.

Could be an eye opener.
