Any product under $500.00 is what is selling in our market..Now ofcourse they have to provide a benefit to the customer and the ones my agency are selling alot of is Key/Remote replacement policies...Its been doing VERY well... Mostly because the cost of these "computer chip keys and the remotes are over $100 in most cases and with a good coverage plan, the customer may make up to 1 claim a year and on a 5 year policy, he/she can get up to 5 keys/remotes replaced..

For low cost products there are two that we are having more success with dealers than everything else we have. First, Safeguard Key Repair Replacement. Great program even covers house keys on the same key ring as the covered key. Low cost - $39 for one year to a maximum cost of only $114 for high end cars for five years. We also have Stay Nu. This is a non-chemical appearance package that covers PDR, scratches, winshield stars, burn holes, leather cuts, cracks in the dash, headlight lense covers, and more. Tire and Wheel has been a great back end seller. Banks have really cut advances in the back end. Tire and Wheel has a low cost and also offers a great value for the customer. Another product that has really taken off is the 5 year 100,000 mile powertrain warranty. Low cost..great value...Most dealers are selling more used cars now, than new. This warranty goes up to 10yrs and 125,000 miles....Date of sale..zero deductible..
