Auto Dealer People

Where are YOU located and are you a franchise or independent dealer? What is their current program like? Average customer profile, credit score range, advances, fees, terms? What percentage of your submissions turn into approvals? Deals? Other comments?

If you have a scanned copy of their finance programs, feel free to upload it.

Cut us off last May after doing 10-15 deals a month. Said all independents must GO! We called last week and were told still still no independents. I hear they are buying deals. Independent/Missouri

We are in PA and a franchise dealer. Their current program is low LTV's, high fees (which may relate to the rate cap in the state), and a very narrow window of what they want to buy. Last week they stopped buying anyone who is self-employed or 1099. It will be an automatic turndown. They told us that the self-employed deals have a high rate of default.

They are slow funding everything, if you are a GM or Chrysler store you have to show proof of MCO/title being signed over to customer and sent to DMV before they will fund. Also if the FICO is above 640 the call will be 90& of book or invoice with a high fee.
